Based on 654 reviewsThe Stables is widely recognized for its friendly and efficient service, with many diners appreciating the speedy order fulfillment despite its popularity. The restaurant offers generous portions featuring classic breakfast and brunch dishes, often praised for their flavor and satisfying take-home options. Customers frequently highlight the welcoming atmosphere and clean, organized setting. However, some feedback notes that certain items, such as pancakes and waffles, can be drier than expected, and plating could be more visually appealing. Overall, The Stables is seen as an affordable and reliable choice for hearty all-day breakfast fare, appealing to those seeking flavorful, well-portioned meals in a cozy environment.
Quick, friendly service. Ended up with a giant blueberry pancake with real maple syrup, veggie omelet and homemade corn beef and the Irish eggs benny! We left stuffed and happy.
Stopped in at lunchtime but had the all day breakfast. I got the three eggs with bacon , sausage , home fries and toast. It was delicious..... My friend got the two eggs with bacon , home fries and pancakes. She was very happy with it. The coffee was very good and our food was cooked just the way we ordered. The restaurant was very clean and organized and they offered specials for each day of the week and extra specials each day. Very nice decor and the beautiful plants being grown out front really compliments the building. The menu has many options to choose from for breakfast and lunch and the food at the other tables looked very tempting. Something for everyone .
The restaurant is exceptionally popular, providing remarkably fast order fulfillment. The food is flavorful; while ideally served hotter, the generous portions ensure ample enjoyment. Ultimately, the takeaway or take-home portions is satisfying.
The inside and outside of the restaurant are cute. The staff are nice and the service was good. I was a little disappointed with the food as it was mediocre. The plating could have been nicer to make it look more appealing.
Great breakfast place for an affordable price! We got the homemade Hash n Eggs (off menu item offered daily) and the Farmer Brown breakfast special with waffles substituted for pancakes. Sampled my friends pancake, both the waffles and pancakes were drier than preferred but I think the waffle has better flavor. Future customers would likely be satisfied with the staple eggs, potatoes (really good! Crispy outside, soft inside), homemade hash, and sourdough toast.
